Become a Provider: The Engineering Institute of Canada

Quality Providers of learning activities are invited to participate with the EIC as Participating Partners by joining EIC's Continuing Education Recognition Program (CERP).

The EIC recognizes quality providers of professional development to the engineering community by authorizing them to award EIC continuing education units, the “CEUEIC".

The purpose of the EIC professional development program is to help engineering professionals identify quality providers and to facilitate record keeping when activities can occur with various providers across Canada.

Providers recognized by the EIC are responsible for the development and delivery of high quality learning activities, complying with EIC Program Standards, and participants in these professional development activities earn "EIC CEU's".

We recommend that engineering professionals register their continuing education achievements in the EIC CEU Registry. Providers recognized by us have agreed to do so. Simply indicate to the provider that you wish it to be done. The EIC will keep this information confidential and will provide individuals with a transcript of their recorded activity upon request.

EIC’s Continuing Education Program is supported by Engineers Canada, The Association of Consulting Engineering Companies - Canada, and The Canadian Academy of Engineering.
